It’s an unrequited dream of mine to find a freaky and old book in a haunted attic. The book will tell me about a hidden inverted world just askew of ours. And just as I find the page detailing the face of the hidden world’s leader, a voice will call me back downstairs. The book won’t be found again.
Did I mention I saw a ghost yesterday? It was a black-hooded figure standing near my car in the street. Apparently, the ghosts haven’t caught wind of those Stand Your Ground laws yet; it’s dangerous to wear a hood in a gun-loving state.
This time, I feel my luck will change.
My skin can still feel the warmth coming off of those beautiful lights, and the tears ready to roll down my cheek.
The Song of my Forthcoming Summer mixed with that episode of Ally McBeal that guest-starred the guy from My So-Called Life.
